Privacy Policy

Effective August 5, 2026

DocketDeck collects what the site needs in order to work, and nothing beyond that. We do not sell personal information, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

This policy covers www.docketdeck.com and every page on it.

What we collect

If you sign in as a vendor, we store your email address. That is the entire account. There is no password, because signing in works by emailing you a link.

If you submit a listing, we store what you typed into the form. A published listing is public by design; that is what a directory is.

Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include IP addresses and browser user-agent strings, for a short period so we can keep the site up and deal with abuse.

That is the whole list. There is no visitor profile, no tracking pixel, and no data broker on the other end of this site.

Payments

Payments run through Stripe, on a checkout page Stripe hosts. Card numbers never reach our servers and we never see them.

What we keep is the identifiers Stripe hands back for the checkout session, the payment, and any refund, along with the amount and the date, so we can match a payment to a listing.

Cookies

One cookie. When you sign in, we set a signed, http-only session cookie so the site knows you are logged in. It expires on its own, and signing out clears it.

There are no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies here, which is why the site has never asked you to accept a cookie banner.

Counting clicks

Links out to vendors pass through a redirect on our domain so we can count how many people clicked. The count is a single running total stored on the listing. We do not record who clicked, and nothing about it is tied to you.

Who else sees it

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

A few service providers process data on our behalf: Vercel hosts the site, Neon hosts the database, Stripe handles payments, and Resend delivers our email. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.

We will also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the site and the people using it from fraud or abuse.

How long we keep it

Account and listing data stays while your listing exists. Payment records are kept as long as tax and dispute rules require, which is longer. Server logs age out on their own.

Your choices

Email hello@docketdeck.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will take care of it.

Deleting a listing takes it off the site. It does not refund fees already paid, for the reasons set out in our Terms of Service.

Children

This is a tool for businesses. The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Where your data is processed

The site, its database, and its payment and email providers operate in the United States. If you use the site from somewhere else, your information is processed in the United States.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top changes when we do.
